1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between iTransformers Labs Ltd (trading as ThingsLog), registered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register under UIC 202645674, with registered address: ul. Georgi S. Rakovski 18, Sofia 1202, Bulgaria, phone: +359 875 32 80 70, email: sales@thingslog.com, and the users of the LPMDL-110X series hardware products.

These terms govern the sale, delivery, installation, use, warranty, and return for repair/replacement (RMA) of ThingsLog LPMDL-110X devices. They are binding on all parties and form an integral part of the purchase contract.

"User" means any natural or legal person who has purchased an LPMDL-110X series product from ThingsLog or an authorized distributor.

2. TERMS OF USE

ThingsLog LPMDL-110X series devices are intended for use under the following environmental conditions (per Chapter 9 of the User Guide):

  • Indoor or outdoor use without prolonged exposure to direct UV radiation.

  • Altitude up to 2000 m.

  • Ambient temperature: -40°C to +60°C. Continuous exposure between -20°C and -40°C is not recommended.

  • Relative humidity: 4% to 100%.

  • Supply voltage deviation: up to +20% and -15% of declared voltage.

  • Overvoltage category I.

  • Pollution degree 3 (PD3).

  • Dust and water protection: IP68 — suitable for home and industrial use.

  • CE certified for industrial and home use. Unauthorized modifications are not authorized and void the warranty.

Installation:

  • All installation work must be performed in accordance with local regulations on health and safety at work in electrical systems.

  • Installation must be performed only by engineers or technicians with product expertise who have read and understood this guide.

  • Incorrect installation may cause damage and inaccurate measurements, and results in violation of warranty conditions.

  • Example of improper installation: connecting a pulse or analog input short-circuit or directly to a power source.

  • For ATEX zone 0, 1, or 2: install the device outside the zone and use an external IC circuit barrier.

Transport and Storage:

  • Store in dry rooms without water or other liquids, at -20°C to +60°C, in the original packaging.

  • Transportation below -20°C is allowed accidentally for no more than 8 hours. Protect against shocks and avoid extreme conditions.

Subsequent Maintenance:

  • Clean only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Use of aggressive or abrasive detergents is prohibited.

  • Every six months, check the enclosure integrity and the waterproofness of cables and connecting terminals.

Recycling:

  • Dispose of the product in accordance with local and national legislation. You may return the device to ThingsLog for recycling.

3. WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The warranty period is determined by the status of the buyer, as confirmed by a delivery receipt or invoice, in accordance with applicable Bulgarian legislation:

  • Business customers (legal entities, traders): 12 (twelve) months from the date of delivery.

  • Individual consumers: 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in the hardware.

  • Hardware failures under normal use, in accordance with these terms and the user guide.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Physical damage — impacts, drops, deformation.

  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation.

  • Short-circuited or power-connected pulse/analog inputs.

  • Unauthorized modifications or additions to the device.

  • Use outside the specified temperature range (-40°C to +60°C).

  • Liquid ingress damage due to improper sealing.

  • Battery damage from incorrect battery type or failure to follow Chapter 5 of the user guide.

  • Damage from power surges or inappropriate external power supply.

  • Normal wear and tear (battery, mechanical wear).

The warranty is void if:

  • The device enclosure has been opened or disassembled without ThingsLog authorization.

  • The serial number has been removed, damaged, or is illegible.

  • Installation was performed without reading the user guide.

  • Inputs were short-circuited or connected directly to a power source.

3A. HARDWARE SUPPORT (extended contract) — Advance On-Site Replacement

Customers with an active Hardware Support contract receive advance on-site replacement: ThingsLog ships a working replacement unit to the field address before the defective unit has been returned. The customer is required to return the defective device to ThingsLog within 30 (thirty) calendar days of receiving the replacement unit. The terms of the Hardware Support contract are defined separately.

  • Defective unit not returned within 30 days: ThingsLog will invoice the full list price of the replacement unit.

3B. STANDARD WARRANTY — Return before replacement

Under the standard warranty (without a Hardware Support contract), the customer must first return the defective device to ThingsLog through an approved RMA request. Replacement or repair is carried out after ThingsLog receives and inspects the defective unit. The full procedure is described in the separate document "ThingsLog RMA Procedure for LPMDL-110X".

4. RMA PROCEDURE — RETURN FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT

The detailed RMA (Return for Repair/Replacement) procedure is described in the separate document 'ThingsLog RMA Procedure for LPMDL-110X'. That document forms an integral annex to these Terms and Conditions and is binding on all parties.

RMA requests are accepted ONLY through the official ThingsLog support portal:

Do NOT ship equipment until ThingsLog confirms the RMA number and return instructions.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

5.1. ThingsLog is liable only for intentional misconduct or gross negligence. ThingsLog is not liable for: lost profits, unrealized savings, indirect losses, loss or alteration of data resulting from device malfunction, or third-party claims.

5.2. ThingsLog is not liable for the availability of GSM/4G/NB-IoT/LoRaWAN networks, nor for platform outages due to force majeure, natural disasters, or governmental actions.

5.3. LPMDL-110X devices are not designed for safety-critical applications (life support, nuclear facilities, etc.) without additional safeguards. ThingsLog accepts no liability for damages in such cases.

5.4. ThingsLog's maximum liability with respect to any individual device is limited to the purchase price paid by the User for that device.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

6.1. ThingsLog retains all rights to the firmware, software, and documentation of the LPMDL-110X devices. All intellectual property rights are protected under applicable law.

6.2. The User is granted a non-exclusive license to use the firmware factory-installed in the purchased device, solely for its intended purpose.

6.3. Reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly, or modification of the firmware or any other software provided by ThingsLog is strictly prohibited.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

7.1. Bulgarian law applies to all matters related to these Terms and Conditions.

7.2. All disputes shall be settled through negotiation. If no voluntary settlement is reached, disputes shall be referred to the competent Bulgarian court in Sofia.

7.3. All notices between the parties shall be in writing (including email) to the addresses specified in the individual contract.
